swimThe Toadsmoor Valley is wonderful walking country and there are lots of places within a few minutes where you can run free and come to no harm at all. The nearest of these is Toadsmoor Woods and round the lake to Bismore - dogs love paddling in the ford.

Five minutes away we have the canal towpath (14 miles), Minchinhampton & Rodborough Common (1000 acres of open grassland owned by the National Trust), Selsley Common and vistaPenn Woods, Painswick Beacon, Haresfield Beacon and Randwick Woods. All of these are owned by the National Trust and each extends to hundreds of acres.

Within twenty minutes drive, we also have Cam Long Down, Crickley Hill Country Park, Westonbirt Arboretum, the Ebworth EstateBlackstable Wood and Cranham Woods.

Within half an hour there is May Hill, Cleeve Hill and Leckhampton Common. Newfies love the Cotswold Water Park! drive

Finally, we are very lucky to have several really nice pubs serving good food where you will not be forced to sit outside. Just a few minutes away at Bisley we have `The Bear Inn' and the `Stirrup Cup' where the owners positively encourage you, plus `The Butcher's Arms' at Oakridge, `The Bell Inn' at Sapperton, and our local, 'The Lamb' at Eastcombe.
