Five minutes away we have the canal towpath (14 miles), Minchinhampton & Rodborough Common (1000 acres of open grassland owned by the National Trust), Selsley Common and Within twenty minutes drive, we also have Cam Long Down, Crickley Hill Country Park, Westonbirt Arboretum, the Ebworth Estate, Blackstable Wood and Cranham Woods.
Within half an hour there is May Hill, Cleeve Hill and Leckhampton Common. Newfies love the Cotswold Water Park! Finally, we are very lucky to have several really nice pubs serving good food where you will not be forced to sit outside. Just a few minutes away at Bisley we have `The Bear Inn' and the `Stirrup Cup' where the owners positively encourage you, plus `The Butcher's Arms' at Oakridge, `The Bell Inn' at Sapperton, and our local, 'The Lamb' at Eastcombe. |
